Progress as of June 14th 2012

Work continues, although it is hard to see when the building work will be fully completed. Best guess really is another 4-6 weeks?

This is a summary of how things stand at present:

• Lounge - book shelves in, most painting done, gas wall fire in place and connected to flue, stone surround not yet fitted, final painting to be done still.
• Kitchen - all units nearly fully fitted (after the hiatus with the cream units and handles!), all lights in place. Still to fit cooker hood and hob. A bit concerned that the join in the work-surface is too visible currently.
• Utility room - walls built and plastered, boiler installed on the wall, no surfaces painted yet, light fittings almost in place.
• Sun room - virtually all done now, but still filled with kitchen appliances!
• Small bedroom - virtually all done and painted, but Bob is swapping out the window as it is bowed.
• Guest bedroom - mirrored wardrobe doors fitted, walls plastered and partly painted, secret mirrored door into shack (studio) fitted.
  
• Shack (studio) - all electrics almost in place, radiator added, walls plastered and partly painted, window and roof in place.
• Main bedroom - nothing new, apart from new door into en-suite.
• En-suite - footings in place but wall not yet knocked through.
  
  
  
  
• Garden - Phil's end tidied up and extra 5m sq of turf laid, red robin added in corner between  trellis and Phil's hedge and also on border directly opposite sun room window in long border. Evergreen bush added in gap to block view into Phil's plot.
